GRASSROOTS

Soccer Unity Grassroots programming offers players aged 3-12 an opportunity to develop foundational soccer skills, while making new friends, and learning the importance of the Unity Way. All of the programs are run by our amazing crew of volunteer coaches and designed to align with the Soccer Unity Project player development framework.
On the field, players will be introduced to and develop foundational skills that will be used throughout their playing careers. Beyond the field, these programs seek to teach players transferable skills of leadership, teamwork, and community.

CommUNITY Pick-Up is a platform for players of all skill levels to come to the field and participate in supervised, unstructured play. This program aims to provide players an opportunity to learn the game by playing the game.
Some of the best soccer academies around the world including Ajax, Barcelona, and many across England include intentional free play opportunities to develop players. Studies have shown that by playing in low stakes, game-like environments, players are able to develop creativity, decision making, and other skills that are developed through play.
